The Mariachi Conservatory (TMC) is a mariachi program aimed at teaching the art form of mariachi music to children and adults and is a community based program.  TMC is located in the Boyle Heights area and is currently holding classes at Salesian High School 960 South Soto St. Los Angeles, CA 90023.  The Students have had the privilege in performing at the Historical La Fonda Restaurant, the 18th Annual Mariachi Festival held at the Mariachi Plaza and Mariachi USA's pre-showcase held at the Hollywood Bowl.  The Mission for The Mariachi Conservatory is to provide students an opportunity in learning the art form of mariachi music and develop an academic mariachi program.  Ultimately TMC will strive to advocate mariachi music education and permit its inclusion as a music discipline in the academic arena.
